AVOCake Pukis & Delight opens Indonesian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur
AVOCake Pukis & Delight has opened a new family-style restaurant in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, offering a wide variety of iconic and viral Indonesian dishes. The establishment aims to showcase the diverse culinary heritage of Indonesia by featuring menus from various regions rather than focusing on a single style of cooking.
The menu includes heavy meals such as Iga Bakar, Nasi Iga Goreng, Sate Kambing Madura, Nasi Bakar, and various soups like Sup Konro. For those seeking street food and snacks, the restaurant serves items such as Sempol, Cilok, Tempe Mendoan, Batagor, and Somai. The menu is rounded out with desserts and avocado-based beverages.
The restaurant was founded by Dr. Shamsiah Yaakob and Mohd Azri Ahmad Kamil. Dr. Shamsiah, who previously served as a lecturer at Universitas Diponegoro in Semarang, Indonesia, for seven years, drew upon her extensive experience living in Indonesia to curate the diverse selection of traditional flavors.
