Avon approves $1.37 million contract for Avondale Apartments

The Avon Town Council has approved a $1.37 million design contract with Site Architects to advance the Avondale Apartments project. This 40-unit, high-density housing development is planned for 375 Yoder Ave.

Originally envisioned for a different location, the project shifted to the Yoder Avenue site following due diligence. The town has selected modular construction as the preferred method to potentially save time. If the current schedule holds, construction could begin as early as summer 2027, pending upcoming discussions regarding pricing and financing options.
