AVONET demands accountability over Kosovo school diary shortage
The organization AVONET has expressed serious concern regarding the absence of school diaries in Kosovo's schools, noting that the shortage persists four days after the start of the new academic year.
AVONET describes the school diary as a fundamental tool for the documentation, evidence, and administration of the teaching process. The organization stated that the lack of this basic work tool is “unacceptable” and raises significant questions regarding institutional planning and coordination.
The organization has called upon the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MASHTI) to provide an urgent public explanation. Specifically, AVONET is seeking clarity on why the diaries were not distributed before the start of the school year, what measures are being taken to supply the schools, and the specific timeline for when all institutions will be equipped.
