AVS eliminates Moreirense from Taça de Portugal

AVS secured a 1-0 victory against Moreirense in the Taça de Portugal, resulting in the elimination of the top-tier side. The decisive moment occurred just three minutes into the match when Rodrigo Pinho scored with a powerful long-range shot into the top corner.

Despite Moreirense controlling much of the possession and midfield play, they struggled to create significant scoring opportunities. The match became more difficult for the visitors after Maracás was sent off following a hard challenge on Rodrigo Pinho before halftime. Although Moreirense pressured in the final stages while playing with a numerical disadvantage, AVS successfully defended their lead to advance to the next round.
