AVS launches 2027 municipal election program for Como

The Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra (AVS) has launched its political program for the 2027 municipal elections in Como. The coalition, which currently positions itself as the second political force in the city, aims to focus on sustainability, social inclusion, and resident rights.

Key pillars of the program include environmental protection, managing tourism, and addressing the housing emergency to ensure housing remains an accessible right. Additionally, the coalition emphasizes investment in education and training, rejecting cost-cutting measures in the school system in favor of viewing schools as essential social infrastructure. The program also prioritizes urban greenery and sustainable mobility as strategic elements for public health.
