AvtoVAZ announces pricing for modernized Lada Niva Legend

AvtoVAZ has announced the pricing and technical details for the modernized Lada Niva Legend, marking a significant update ahead of the model's 50th anniversary next year.

The updated vehicle features several structural and interior improvements. The bodywork now includes more galvanized elements, such as the radiator grille, hood, roof, and various door and rear panels. Mechanical upgrades include a new single-lever transfer case mechanism designed to reduce vibrations, along with new powertrain mounts.

Inside the cabin, the steering wheel has been updated to a model from the Lada Granta, which includes an airbag, and the steering column has been slightly repositioned. Other interior changes include a new height-adjustable steering column and a redesigned gear lever placement. Exterior options include new 16-inch aluminum wheels for higher trim levels, while base models retain steel rims and metal bumpers.
