AW Rostamani Group completes digital cash management transformation

AW Rostamani Group (AWR Group) has completed a major transformation of its group-wide cash management infrastructure. In partnership with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the group established a connected, digital treasury framework that integrates banking, payments, liquidity management, and reporting into a single operating environment.

The transformation involved moving from a decentralized banking structure to an integrated treasury model featuring the group’s first In-House Bank. This new system introduces Payment-on-Behalf-Of (POBO) and Receipt-on-Behalf-Of (ROBO) capabilities, replacing physical bank accounts with a streamlined virtual account structure to centralize payments and collections.

The program was recognized at the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) Middle East Treasury Awards, where AWR Group received the Cash Management award. Additionally, AWR Group Treasurer James Adams was honored with the ‘Treasury Icon’ award.
