AWA streaming service hosts Yamauchi Soichiro album listening party and publishes idol ranking

Japan’s AWA music‑streaming platform scheduled a free, hour‑long online listening party on its AWA Lounge for artist Yamauchi Soichiro’s full album “A”. The event, open to anyone with the AWA app, will feature live audio and chat interaction with the artist, allowing real‑time exchange with fans.

In a separate AWA‑generated report covering the week of 20–26 July 2026, the service’s idol ranking placed Snow Man at the top of the Reiwa‑debut category and M!LK leading the Heisei‑debut list. Rankings are based on user activity within the platform and highlight songs and performances that sparked rapid increases in streams.

AWA, a subscription music service jointly funded by CyberAgent and Avex Entertainment, offers multiple pricing tiers, including a free plan, and operates across smartphones, PCs, TVs and other devices, boasting a catalog of roughly 150 million tracks.
