Awajishima Sunset Cruise to feature whirlpools and live music

Joyport Awajishima will host the “Awajishima Sunset Cruise” on September 12 and 13, 2026. Departing from Fukura Port in Minami-Awaji, Hyogo Prefecture, the special 90-minute excursion on the vessel Kanrin Maru offers views of the Naruto Strait whirlpools and the sunset.

The cruise features a 30-minute live violin and piano concert on board. Passengers can choose between standard seating, priced at 7,000 yen for junior high students and older, or a limited VIP experience. The VIP option, restricted to 14 guests, includes a steak dinner featuring a comparison of Awaji beef sirloin and fillet, prepared by chef Yoshihito Kataoka of Kitchen Yocchi, alongside local seafood and Awajishima wines.

An Instagram campaign is also being held, offering a chance to win pairs of standard tickets.
