Awajiya releases Hanshin Tigers collaboration ekiben

Awajiya has announced the second installment of its collaboration with the Hanshin Tigers baseball team, featuring the ‘Hanshin Tigers Hippari-dakomeshi (White)’ ekiben. The limited edition meal is priced at 1,980 yen.

The collaboration features a white matte-finished octopus-shaped ceramic pot printed with the team logo, a design intended to complement the team’s traditional stripe pattern. The meal includes octopus simmered in soy sauce, simmered conger eel, shredded omelet, simmered shiitake mushrooms, simmered bamboo shoots, and canola blossoms served over soy-flavored rice.

Reservations opened on October 4, with pickup and delivery scheduled between October 7 and October 20. Customers can choose between in-store pickup at various locations or delivery via the Awajiya online shop. General in-store sales are expected to begin on October 21.
