Awarapan 2 crosses ₹100 crore mark in five days

Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Awarapan 2’ has achieved a significant box office milestone, crossing the ₹100 crore mark in India within five days of its release. The romantic action thriller has earned approximately ₹100.75 crore in domestic net collections, with a worldwide gross collection reaching around ₹144.13 crore. This marks Hashmi’s first solo lead film to reach this milestone, surpassing the domestic earnings of his previous highest-grossing solo film, ‘The Dirty Picture’.

Other films at the box office have shown varying performance. Sunny Deol’s ‘Batwara 1947’ saw a decline in daily earnings during its weekdays, collecting approximately ₹2.25 crore on its fifth day, with a total domestic net collection of around ₹30.75 crore. Additionally, Suraiya’s ‘Vishwanath and Sons’ has performed steadily, reaching a worldwide gross collection of ₹128.60 crore.
