Awarapan 2 surpasses Rs 200 crore at the global box office

Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Awarapan 2’ has achieved significant commercial success, surpassing Rs 200 crore at the global box office. According to reports, the film’s worldwide collection has reached approximately Rs 220.49 crore.

In the Indian domestic market, the film has earned nearly Rs 150 crore after 17 days of release. On its third Sunday, the movie recorded a net collection of Rs 1.40 crore, maintaining a steady presence in theaters with approximately 35 percent occupancy during its 1,152 shows across the country.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film is a sequel to the 2007 cult classic ‘Awarapan’. The cast includes Disha Patani, Shabana Azmi, Puran Gabbi, Suvinder Vicky, and Aniruddh Rawal. Produced by Vishesh Bhatt and presented by Mukesh Bhatt and Vishesh Films, the story follows the character Shivam as he is drawn back into the Bangkok underworld to rescue trafficked children.
