Awarapan 2 surpasses ₹180 crore in worldwide box office collections

The Emraan Hashmi-led action drama ‘Awarapan 2’ has achieved superhit status at the box office, with its worldwide gross collection surpassing ₹180 crore. Following a strong opening weekend fueled by nostalgia for the 2007 original, the film has maintained a steady presence in theaters through its second week.

Domestic performance has been robust, with the film’s India net collection reaching approximately ₹127.50 crore. While some reports noted a decline in weekday earnings during the Monday-to-Friday window, the film saw a significant resurgence during its second weekend. On its ninth day, the film collected ₹8.25 crore domestically, a notable increase from previous weekdays.

The film has also shown strength in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Indian cities and non-national cinema chains. Internationally, the film has contributed significantly to the total, with overseas gross collections reported around ₹27.30 crore. Analysts suggest that the film's performance in the second weekend will be a deciding factor in whether it reaches the ₹200 crore milestone.
