Awqaf Ministries set Friday sermon theme on bullying and its impact

The Ministry of Awqaf in Kuwait and Egypt announced that the upcoming Friday sermon (khutbah) will be titled “Bullying and its impact on the human personality”. The sermon is scheduled for 24 Safar 1448 AH (7 August 2026) and will be posted on the ministries’ digital platforms.

The message aims to correct the view that teasing, mockery and bullying are harmless jokes, emphasizing the serious psychological and social harms they cause and urging respect for human dignity. A second sermon titled “Mockery and ridicule are not light‑hearted” will follow, citing Qur’anic verses and prophetic teachings that condemn aggression and promote compassion.
