Axé Bahía faces internal split as Francini Amaral quits the group

Chilean entertainment journalist Cecilia Gutiérrez announced a major rift within the Brazilian music group Axé Bahía, which has a strong following in Chile. According to Gutiérrez, member Franci ni Amaral decided to leave the trio after a conflict that appears to involve fellow performers Flaviana Seeling and Bruno Zaretti, following their joint appearance on the TV program "La Divina Comida."

Francini posted on social media describing the past four months as "terror" and saying she needed an urgent change of air and energy. She indicated she was traveling abroad and focusing on personal projects such as composing and studying music. Despite the departure, Axé Bahía continues its tour schedule, rebranding some shows as "Axé Brasil" and featuring historic members from related groups. The ensemble recently performed in Peru with a replacement for Francini and has upcoming concerts in Chile.
