AXA rolls out Microsoft 365 Copilot worldwide to boost employee productivity

AXA, the France‑headquartered insurer, announced a phased, global rollout of Microsoft 365 Copilot across its workforce. The AI assistant will be embedded in familiar Microsoft Office tools such as Teams, Outlook and Word, aiming to accelerate routine tasks, enhance collaboration and enable more personalised service for customers while maintaining a secure environment.

The deployment builds on AXA’s internal Secure GPT platform launched three years earlier, which provides secure access to large‑language models. Alongside the technology rollout, AXA will expand its AI upskilling programme to give employees practical and ethical AI knowledge, emphasizing human oversight for key decisions. Group Chief Technology & AI Officer Matthieu Caillat said, “Artificial Intelligence represents a significant opportunity to empower our employees, strengthen our innovation leadership, and better serve our customers.”
