AXA signs major lease at Sun Hung Kai Properties’ IGC in Hong Kong

Sun Hung Kai Properties and AXA Hong Kong and Macau have signed a major leasing agreement for the International Gateway Centre (IGC) in West Kowloon. AXA will lease approximately 97,500 square feet across two and a half floors to establish a new distribution office and a flagship one-stop wealth management center.

AXA is expected to officially move into the IGC in early 2028. The ten-year lease is intended to strengthen AXA’s distribution capabilities and reinforce its position as a wealth management partner in the region. The new location will serve clients in Hong Kong, Macau, and the broader area, providing services such as wealth planning, health protection, and legacy planning.

The IGC is a landmark commercial development situated above the West Kowloon high-speed rail station, offering connectivity to mainland China and the Greater Bay Area. The project features two twin towers providing approximately 2.5 million square feet of Grade A office space and includes a five-story shopping mall known as Stage IGC.
