AXEAN Festival 2026 launches full lineup for Bali event

The AXEAN Festival will take place on 29‑30 August 2026 at the Jimbaran Hub in Bali, Indonesia. The third edition features a diverse roster of Asian independent artists, including D’MASIV, Ndarboy Genk, Arivu, Masdo, Nerd Connection, Subsonic Eye, PLAYERTWO, Yellow Fang, Crystal Murray, ALYSON and many others spanning indie rock, alternative pop, hip‑hop, R&B, electronic jazz and experimental sounds.

The festival introduces a partnership with Seattle‑based public radio station KEXP, which will record exclusive live sessions on‑site to help Southeast Asian musicians reach global audiences. A "KOREA SPOTLIGHT" showcase, organized by South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, will present Korean indie acts making their Indonesian debut. A new "SEA URBAN" programme will highlight hip‑hop, rap and R&B from the region, accompanied by an industry panel and a hawker‑style food experience. Since its launch in 2020, AXEAN has featured over 200 artists from 20 countries.
