Axel Alarcón prepares for open water swimming competitions
Adaptive swimmer Axel Alarcón is preparing for an upcoming open water competition in Playa Paraná, Puerto Madryn, scheduled for September 11-13. This event is organized by ANAACH.
Alarcón is currently focusing on the Oceanman World Championship, which will take place in the Dominican Republic this November. He recently achieved success at the Winter Swimming World Cup 2026 in El Calafate, where he placed first in the 300-meter open water category (ages 20-24) and secured a silver medal in the 200-meter distance.
