Axel Kicillof inaugurates new school and aqueduct in Villarino

Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof inaugurated the new building for Secondary School No. 8, named ‘Héroes de Malvinas’, in Hilario Ascasubi, Villarino. The facility will serve over 275 students across three shifts, from 7:00 to 23:00, providing them with dedicated space and ending the need to share facilities with other local schools.

In addition to the school, Kicillof inaugurated the Pedro Luro – Hilario Ascasubi Aqueduct following a total replacement of its piping. The governor noted that the school project, which involved an investment of 1,048 million pesos, was resumed and completed by the provincial government after being halted by the national government.

The new school building includes six classrooms, a multi-purpose room, a kitchen, and administrative offices. Kicillof used the occasion to criticize the national administration's funding policies, stating that the province remains committed to prioritizing public education.
