AI technology expands through new hardware and global robotics deployment
Developments in artificial intelligence are expanding across hardware and global research sectors. In Indonesia, Axioo has launched the Hype AI G3 series, featuring Intel Core processors with Neural Processing Units (NPU). Designed for students and young professionals, these lightweight laptops aim to make AI-accelerated productivity more accessible, with prices starting around Rp8 million.
On a broader scale, Prof. Stella Christie has called for developing nations to transition from passive consumers to active architects in AI research and governance to prevent a widening technological gap. Meanwhile, China’s AiMOGA Robotics is expanding its global footprint, having shipped over 2,000 AI-based robots to more than 60 countries, including Indonesia, for use in sectors such as retail, public services, and medical guidance.
