Axis Communications adds video support to AXIS C6110 paging console

Axis Communications has announced the addition of live video support to its AXIS C6110 Network Paging Console via the AXIS OS 12.11 update. This enhancement integrates video with existing network audio and two-way communication capabilities to provide operators with increased situational awareness.

The update allows users to access live video feeds directly from the paging console interface, reducing the need to switch between separate security systems. The console can connect natively to existing Axis cameras and intercoms, while also supporting third-party devices to accommodate mixed technology environments.

A primary application for this feature is entrance and access management. Operators can now visually verify individuals requesting access before responding or unlocking doors, combining visual context with two-way audio to facilitate faster and more informed decision-making at critical entry points.
