Axl Rose mourns the death of his cat, Whiskey

Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose shared on social media that his cat, Whiskey Maranello Rose, passed away on August 25 at the age of 16.

In a post on X, the 64-year-old singer described the pet as ‘a son, a brother, a friend’ and noted that Whiskey had been an important part of his life since birth. Rose expressed gratitude to fans for their support and described the cat as a sweet and serene soul.

Following Whiskey's death, Rose's other cat, Dijon, who recently turned 21, is now the only cat living with the rock star.
