Institutional Investors Boost Holdings in Aon plc

Bank of America Corp increased its stake in Aon plc by 222,092 shares during the first quarter, bringing its total to 1,582,680 shares, roughly 0.74% of the insurer and valued at about $511 million. Glenmede Trust Co. added 7,890 shares, raising its position to 56,358 shares worth roughly $18 million. Other investors also adjusted their Aon holdings: Essential Partners LLC expanded its stake by 235.2%, Janus Henderson Group lifted its position by 9.8%, and several smaller advisory firms acquired new positions worth between $25,000 and $35,000. Collectively, institutional investors now own about 86.1% of Aon’s outstanding shares.
