Axsome Therapeutics reports 46% revenue growth in Q2 2026

Axsome Therapeutics reported second quarter 2026 total net product revenue of $218.4 million, representing a 46% increase year over year. The growth was driven largely by AUVELITY, which generated $180.3 million in revenue, a 51% increase compared to the previous year.

Other product revenues included SUNOSI at $35.8 million and SYMBRAVO at $2.3 million. Despite the revenue growth, the company reported a net loss of $51.3 million for the quarter. SG&A expenses rose to $208.1 million, attributed primarily to the commercialization of AUVELITY and SYMBRAVO.

As of June 30, 2026, Axsome held $319.9 million in cash and cash equivalents, which the company expects will fund operations until reaching cash flow positivity. The company also noted that the FDA has accepted the AXS-12 NDA, with a PDUFA date set for May 1, 2027.
