Axum Molinari Stadium: Violence and vandalism reported during Campobasso-Torres match

The Lega Giovani Molise has issued a strong condemnation following incidents of violence and vandalism at the Axum Molinari Stadium during a championship match between Campobasso and Torres.

According to the youth movement, visiting supporters caused extensive damage, leaving stadium restroom facilities “completely devastated.” The group is calling for a formal request for compensation to be made to the Torres club, holding them responsible for the actions of their fans, and is urging authorities to pursue potential criminal charges.

Furthermore, the organization reported a serious breach of public order, alleging that approximately fifty hooded individuals armed with sticks reached the north curve undisturbed while Campobasso fans, including families, were arriving at the stadium. The Lega Giovani Molise is demanding stricter controls and accountability to prevent future episodes of “guerrilla-style” hooliganism.
