Aya Gold & Silver expands Moroccan mining footprint near Zgounder

Aya Gold & Silver is expanding its mining footprint in Morocco through the acquisition of a new exploration permit portfolio near Zgounder. The acquisition covers 139 km² dedicated to copper and silver, including a 19 km² exploitation permit located approximately 35 kilometers west of the company’s existing Zgounder silver mine.

The transaction is valued at 4 million Canadian dollars and will be settled via the issuance of ordinary shares. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals in both Morocco and Canada, as well as confirmatory due diligence. Once finalized, the company plans to conduct exploration work over the next 12 to 18 months to evaluate the potential for new copper and silver resources.
