Ayacucho youth demand inclusion in public policy and budgets

Representatives from groups such as the Red Mundial de Jóvenes Políticos Ayacucho and the Consejo Regional de Juventud de Ayacucho argue that current government proposals often focus too narrowly on recreational or sporting activities.

Leaders are calling for strengthened district, provincial, and regional youth councils to facilitate better articulation between young citizens and authorities. Key priorities identified include addressing transitions to higher education, improving employment opportunities, and bridging gaps for youth in rural areas regarding education and job access.
