Ayaka celebrates 20th anniversary with new album and tour

Ayaka Mrs. GREEN APPLE 20th Anniversary Mikazuki Room Session

Japanese singer Ayaka is celebrating her 20th debut anniversary with the release of her best-of album, ‘20 Lights - The Collection -’. To mark the occasion, she performed a special collaboration of her 2006 hit ballad ‘Mikazuki’ on the TBS program ‘TV x Mrs.’, hosted by the band Mrs. GREEN APPLE.

Following the televised performance, Ayaka released a ‘20th Anniversary Room Session’ video on her official YouTube channel. This acoustic version features a single-take performance accompanied only by keyboard and full chorus.

In addition to the new video and album, Ayaka is embarking on a 20-show national tour titled ‘Ayaka 20th ANNIVERSARY LIVE TOUR’. The tour begins on September 18 in Fuchu and will conclude with an arena performance at the Nippon Budokan on November 29.
