Japanese artist Ayako Rokkaku is presenting her first solo exhibition in Latin America, titled ‘Playful, Stormy, Continuing’, in São Paulo. The pop-up exhibition is held at Taller Zaragoza and runs from August 19 to September 3, 2026.

The exhibition is presented by the Baró gallery, marking its return to São Paulo, where it was originally founded in 1999. According to Artnet data, Rokkaku is the Japanese female painter of her generation with the highest cumulative public auction sales volume. She holds a record for a single work at 184 million yen and is ranked as the youngest artist in the top 50 for cumulative revenue in Japan.
