Ayala: Body discovered in irrigation canal

A man between 35 and 40 years old was found dead in an irrigation aqueduct in the community of San Pedro Apatlaco, Ayala. The body was discovered by residents around 07:10 hours on Wednesday.

Local authorities reported that the individual had experienced a severe seizure in public several hours before the discovery. Although neighbors requested medical assistance, the man reportedly refused all medical evaluation and transport to a hospital.

Paramedics confirmed the man had no vital signs upon recovery. Preliminary investigations suggest the individual may have lost his balance and fallen into the water while walking near the edge of the canal during a medical crisis. No visible signs of violence were found on the body. The Regional Eastern Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation to process the scene.
