Ayala Land rises in sustainability rankings and reports improved mall performance
Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) has achieved significant milestones in both sustainability and retail performance. The Philippine real estate developer rose 117 places to rank 369th in TIME’s World’s Most Sustainable Companies 2026 list. ALI is the only Philippine real estate developer included in the ranking, alongside Globe, which is the only other Philippine company featured among the 750 selected by TIME and Statista.
Simultaneously, the company reported improved financial and operational metrics for its shopping center portfolio following a flagship mall reinvention program. As of the end of June, the lease-out rate reached 90 percent, up from 87 percent the previous year. Same-mall revenues grew by 7 percent, while visitor footfall increased by 5 percent. The company plans to expand its renovation program to include Ayala Malls Abreeza, Ayala Malls MarQuee, and Ayala Malls Cloverleaf.
