Çaycuma political leaders hold summit on local infrastructure

District leaders from various political parties held a regular monthly summit in Çaycuma, hosted by the Gelecek Party. The meeting involved representatives from several parties, including AK Parti, MHP, İYİ Parti, and Saadet Partisi, to discuss local issues.

Key topics addressed included traffic congestion and insufficient parking capacity in areas where new development meets old urban structures. Participants called for increased municipal police support to manage illegal parking and sidewalk obstructions. Additionally, the group discussed the need for new transit routes and bypass connections to accommodate population growth from the port and industrial sectors. Other concerns raised included the lack of public hygiene facilities in central areas and the heavy burden of traffic fines on rural producers in village areas.
