Aydın Chamber of Industry launches UR‑GE food export project

The Aydın Chamber of Industry (AYSO) held the inaugural meeting of the UR‑GE project for food and food‑processing technologies on 6 August 2026 in Aydın, Turkey. The project aims to boost the export capacity of participating firms by providing needs‑analysis studies, training programmes, and organized overseas marketing and procurement missions.

AYSO General Secretary Çetin Aykırı thanked attendees and emphasized that the initiative will deliver significant gains for Aydın’s industry. Board President Gökhan Maraş highlighted the success of earlier UR‑GE projects in the machinery sector and said the same approach will help food‑technology companies become more competitive in international markets. Project Coordinator Murat Güney and Advisor Ozan Güney presented detailed plans covering market research, skill development, and support for entering new target markets.
