Aydın emergency teams respond to child welfare concern

Emergency services responded to a situation in the Efeler district of Aydın after bystanders became concerned for a 5-year-old child seen at a third-floor window of a five-story apartment building. Residents in the Meşrutiyet neighborhood reported that the child, identified as N. S., was not responding to their calls for communication.

Police and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department teams arrived at the scene and used a ladder truck to inspect the apartment through the window. Upon investigation, authorities determined that the child was not alone in the residence.

Officers entered the apartment and spoke with the occupants, discovering that the child's mother had left the child in the care of a friend to rest. Following the confirmation that the child was safe and not in immediate danger, police issued warnings to the mother regarding child supervision. No injuries or health issues were reported.
