Aydın fig ambassadors promote Turkish produce in China

Chinese social media influencers Da Hui and Aisha, recognized as ‘Aydın Dried Fig Promotion Ambassadors,’ have been participating in activities to promote Aydın’s dried figs in the Chinese market and strengthen Turkey-China relations.

In the Buharkent district of Aydın, the couple joined the harvest of fresh yellow lop figs to experience the production process firsthand. Following the harvest, they were hosted by Buharkent Mayor Mehmet Erol, where discussions focused on increasing the international visibility of Aydın figs.

Additionally, Germencik Mayor Burak Zencirci hosted the ambassadors to further the international promotion of the region's famous dried figs. During the visit, a live connection was established with China to introduce the product to Chinese audiences and thousands of festival participants. The ambassadors have also been invited to the 22nd Traditional Fig Festival.
