Aydın’s ‘Mutlu Çarşamba’ Project Awards Medals to Special Youth

The Aydın Youth and Sports Directorate, coordinated with Turkey’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, completed the first month of its “Mutlu Çarşamba” program for special (disabled) children. The project offers weekly training in tennis, badminton, handball and swimming, aiming to improve physical development, confidence and teamwork.

At the closing ceremony, participants received medals and achievement certificates, and families were presented with thank‑you letters. Officials said, “With the unifying power of sport, we continue to stand by every individual,” emphasizing the program’s inclusive purpose and plans to expand activities in future phases.
