Aydoğmuş's former comrades donate supplies to namesake school in Bartın

Former comrades-in-arms of First Lieutenant Aydın Aydoğmuş have provided significant material support to the primary school bearing his name in Bartın, Turkey.

Aydoğmuş, who graduated from the Military Academy in 1985, was martyred during a clash in Şırnak in 1994. To honor his memory, members of the 1985 Class Social Assistance and Solidarity Association donated numerous boxes of books, toys, educational games, and sports equipment to the school's 155 students.

The donation ceremony was attended by local officials, including Bartın Deputy Governor Emre Yeşilbaş, military commanders, and the martyr's parents. Kazım Murat Özkan, president of the association, stated that the initiative was inspired by the students' interest in chess during a recent visit to the school.
