Ayşegül Şiş seeks help to replace broken bionic ear device

Ayşegül Şiş, an 11-year-old girl from Adana, has lived in silence for four years after accidentally breaking her bionic ear device while playing at age five. Her family is currently unable to afford the approximately 220,000 TL required to replace or repair the device.

The family is facing severe financial difficulties. Ayşegül's father, Abdullah Şiş, suffered a motorcycle accident two years ago that required a leg implant and resulted in a loss of income. Due to these economic struggles, the family was unable to pay rent and had to move in with relatives in the Yüreğir district.

Ayşegül, a fourth-grade student at Yüreğir İmadettin Levent Primary School, is struggling with her education and social life. While she can write, her mother, Ebru Şiş, notes that she cannot hear or read effectively. Ayşegül relies on hand gestures to communicate with classmates, which often leads to social misunderstandings and emotional distress.
