AYIMUN Bandung Chapter 2026 hosts diplomacy simulation for 400 students

Approximately 400 students from 61 schools and universities across more than 30 cities and regencies in Indonesia participated in the Asia Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) Bandung Chapter 2026. Held on August 29–30, 2026, at the Holiday Inn Bandung Pasteur, the event utilized United Nations session simulations to teach diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking.

Under the theme ‘Securing Tomorrow: Advancing Sustainable Development and Global Stability,’ participants were tasked with addressing global issues, defending arguments, and seeking consensus among peers with differing perspectives. Muhammad Fahrizal, President of the International Global Network, noted that while the decisions made are part of a simulation, the skills developed—such as negotiation, discipline in listening, and collaborative problem-solving—are essential for future leadership and professional environments.
