ÇAYKUR announces 2026 organic tea premium and market prices

ÇAYKUR has announced the organic tea premium rate for 2026, set at 19,000 TL per decare. This represents a 28.57% increase from the previous year's rate of 14,000 TL. The payment will be distributed in two installments: the first of 9,500 TL is scheduled for August 31, 2026, with funds becoming available for withdrawal on September 1, 2026. The second installment is planned for November 30, 2026.

Additionally, ÇAYKUR will deposit payments for fresh tea harvested during the July second harvest on August 31, 2026.

In the retail market, tea prices in Turkey continue to vary by brand and weight. As of late August 2026, 1 kg packages of ÇAYKUR products range from approximately 338.90 TL for Rize Turist to 395.95 TL for Filiz Çayı. Other major brands such as Lipton and Doğuş also show varied pricing, with Lipton Yellow Label 1 kg packages listed around 369.95 TL.
