Aylín Mujica reveals autopsy results for son Mauro Menéndez

Aylín Mujica has shared the autopsy results regarding the death of her son, 30-year-old DJ Mauro Menéndez, who passed away on July 16 in Barbados. According to Mujica, the autopsy determined that Menéndez died from organ failure resulting from pneumonia.

Further medical findings revealed a blood clot in his lung, which Mujica noted may have been exacerbated by the altitude during air travel. She stated that Menéndez collapsed while watching the sunset on a beach, suffering a heart attack. While there had been previous speculation regarding the potential role of vaping in his death, Mujica clarified that she cannot definitively link the two, though she expressed concerns about the health risks of vaping.

As Menéndez was a U.S. citizen who died abroad, Mujica noted that the family is currently navigating administrative procedures to receive his ashes.
