Ayne Plastik moves manufacturing from Istanbul to Erzurum

Brothers Mehmet and Fatih Can have moved their manufacturing operations from Istanbul to their hometown of Erzurum, serving as a notable example of industrial reverse migration in Turkey. Their company, Ayne Plastik, specializes in the production of approximately 300 types of plastic products, including Turkey’s first domestically produced elevator toilet seats.

Currently operating in the Erzurum 1st Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) with 70 employees, the company is expanding. Ayne Plastik has begun work on a larger facility on a 10-acre plot in the 2nd OSB. This new project involves an investment of approximately 200 million Turkish Liras and is expected to increase local employment to between 300 and 350 people.
