Ayo Edebiri wears custom Chanel at the 2026 Emmys

At the 2026 Emmys, actress Ayo Edebiri wore a custom Chanel gown designed by creative director Matthieu Blazy. The look was a personalized adaptation of a piece from the Chanel Cruise collection previously presented in Biarritz.

While the original runway model featured a black floral motif, Blazy reimagined the silhouette in sky blue silk for Edebiri. The custom garment included a dramatic vermilion bow on the back and required 163 hours of intricate sewing, featuring complex bodice work and fine pleating at the waist. Stylist Danielle Goldberg paired the dress with pearl earrings, an orange-toned bracelet, and silver sandals.

The ceremony was a significant milestone for the cast and crew of 'The Bear', as the series concluded its narrative following five seasons.
