Nigerian comedian and actor Ayo Makun, known professionally as AY, has issued an apology to fans following a controversial performance in Cardiff, Wales. The comedian stated that unresolved payment commitments caused significant delays to his appearance at the AY Live show.
Makun explained that while he and other performers traveled to Cardiff and arrived at the venue, the financial dispute meant they did not appear until most of the audience had already departed. He expressed regret that ticket holders were caught in the middle of a payment dispute and emphasized that their time and money deserve respect.
Through Corporate World Entertainment, Makun called on event organizers and UK tour management to provide clear resolutions and information regarding refunds for affected attendees. He noted that verified updates would be shared through his official channels. Despite the incident, his upcoming scheduled performances in Birmingham, London, and Manchester are expected to proceed as planned.
