Ayodhya medical student detained over alleged bomb‑making notes

Police in Uttar Pradesh detained Sarfaraz, a first‑year lab‑technician student at Rajshri Dashrath Medical College in Ayodhya, after a handwritten paper containing a bomb‑making formula was recovered from the college's X‑ray room. The Uttar Pradesh Anti‑Terrorism Squad, the Intelligence Wing and senior officials questioned him, sealing his rented room and seizing related documents. The college’s chief medical superintendent, Dr Arvind Singh, said the administration informed police immediately and that two other staff members on duty were also questioned. Authorities have not yet confirmed any extremist link, and the investigation remains ongoing.
