Ram Temple Trust Holds Key meetings on CEO appointment and SIT report
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust convened a two‑part board meeting in Ayodhya. In the first session trustees discussed filling vacant trustee posts and administrative reforms. The second session focused on the Special Investigation Team's final report, the pending CEO selection, and security measures such as CCTV access for law‑enforcement agencies.
Trustees also reviewed the memorandum of understanding with the State Bank of India, expressing dissatisfaction with the bank's performance and directing a review of the agreement. A committee was granted an extra month to complete the CEO recruitment process, and the board approved the appointment of a secretariat to aid administration. Additionally, the trust approved the creation of an official spokesperson position and agreed to involve local saints in a newly formed religious committee to oversee temple rituals and pilgrim facilities.
