Ayodhya Ram Temple chadhava theft sparks MP and religious leader remarks

The theft of gold and silver offerings (chadhava) from the Ayodhya Ram Temple has prompted a series of reactions and legal actions. Mahant Dinendra Das of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust criticised MP Pappu Yadav for wearing saffron attire during a protest in the Parliament precinct and for the controversy over a photograph of the deity, saying a weak mind can lead a person to do anything. He urged Yadav to accept any mistake and seek the deity’s guidance, while affirming that the investigation into the stolen items is proceeding under transparent procedures.

Separately, the Ayodhya Development Authority granted an additional week to Supriya Mishra, wife of accused Lavkush Mishra, to submit documents proving the legality of a construction project on land in Banveerpur village. The case remains under scrutiny by a special investigation team and the Supreme Court.
