Ayodhya Ram Temple construction completed; focus shifts to new museum

The main construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been completed, according to Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee. The committee is now shifting its primary focus toward the establishment of the International Ramkatha Museum.

Tenders for the museum project are scheduled to be invited starting October 10. The facility is planned to feature 20 specialized galleries, including a gallery of Lord Hanuman, and will utilize archaeological evidence to showcase historical themes. Civil execution for the museum is expected to be completed within six months of the tender award.

Separately, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust addressed recent scrutiny regarding the selection of its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The trust clarified that the appointment of Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra (Retd) followed a transparent, technology-enabled process involving 5,585 applications and multi-tiered evaluations across several cities.
