Çayırova recycling center rewards residents with gifts

The ‘Atığın Sıfır Noktası’ (Zero Point of Waste) recycling center in Çayırova, Kocaeli, continues to reward local residents for their recycling efforts. Established by Mayor Bünyamin Çiftçi, the initiative aims to foster recycling habits by allowing citizens to collect points in exchange for bringing waste to the center.

To date, hundreds of gifts have been distributed through the program. Recent recipients include Erhan Tatar, who earned a tablet after three months of participation, and Nesrin Gürdal Aydemir, who received a bicycle. Other items distributed through the point system include camping chairs and various sports balls.
